The tournament will be played across four venues in Pakistan and Sri Lanka, with Multan and Lahore hosting the matches in Pakistan and Kandy and Colombo hosting the matches in Sri Lanka. The tournament will start on August 30, 2023, with a clash between Pakistan and Nepal at Multan. 

The round-robin stage will end on September 5, 2023, with a match between Afghanistan and Sri Lanka at Lahore. The Super 4s will be played from September 6 to September 15, 2023, with Lahore hosting one match and Colombo hosting four matches. The final will be held on September 17, 2023 at Colombo.

Teams and Players

He has also scored nine centuries and 48 half-centuries in this format. He will be looking to guide his team to their first Asia Cup title.

  • Rashid Khan: The spinner of Afghanistan and one of the most lethal bowlers in world cricket, Rashid has taken over 150 wickets in ODIs at an average of under 19. He has also scored over 1,000 runs and four half-centuries in this format. He will be aiming to lead his team to their maiden Asia Cup title.

  • Sandeep Lamichhane: The spinner of Nepal and one of the most promising talents in world cricket, Lamichhane has taken over 50 wickets in ODIs at an average of under 20. He has also scored over 200 runs and one half-century in this format. He will be hoping to make an impact in his team’s debut Asia Cup appearance.
